'I joined Ruth a year ago with the intention of loosing weight and toning up. In our first few sessions, as well as the exercise which I obviously expected, Ruth really discussed my eating habits and suggested me keeping a food diary. As the weeks / months passed, my whole attitude towards food changed - I had never realised that my yo-yoing weight was so deep rooted!!!
Although I am almost at my target weight, I will contine to use Ruth as not only do I really look forward to the exercise sessions that she puts me through but if I find myself slipping to old habits, she very quickly puts me on the right track again.

'Ruth Carnaby really helped me with a regular massage treatment and I can thoroughly recommend her without any hesitation.
My back and shoulders were completely locked. It was painful for me to move my neck in any direction and my arms ached all the time. Driving was getting more and more difficult and carrying out simple tasks was just a burden to me.
I spoke with Ruth and arranged a visit for a massage on my back, as I thought this was the problem. Ruth talked through my symptoms with me and after an initial assessment and treatment It soon became obvious that my arms and neck needed treatment also, and she identified the areas which we both agreed needed most 'help'.
After a few visits I could really feel the difference. My shoulders and arms were freer and a lot less painful. My neck felt and looked as if it had 'grown' several inches and I most certainIy felt like a different person. I really looked forward to visiting Ruth for a personal chat as well as the massage. She was always understanding and friendly as well as professional.
Just saying Thanks Ruth somehow doesn't seem enough. So I am glad of the opportunity to let everyone else know just how good she is. Would I reommend her? You bet I would!

'March. Feeling unfit and have put back on the half stone I lost last summer. Inclined to do something about it but not sure what - friend pops in en route to Pilates session with Ruth and suggests it might be just what I need! One to one session with Ruth follows and I join the class the following week - feeling very virtuous but not very fit! (yet).Enthusiastic and heartened by firm but encouraging approach I return home and jokingly tell my husband that a personal trainer would be just the thing to get me on track!!
April My birthday approaches and my husband surprises me with six one to one sessions with Ruth. Delighted but slightly apprehensive I begin the regime that Ruth and I agree will improve my fitness level whilst being able to actually find the space in my busy schedule to keep up! A daily walk, a daily set of exercises and a life style notebook to record everything I eat and drink. The latter really helps as I know Ruth will be checking up on me in our sessions.
July The last session arrives and I decide to reward myself with a massage instead of a work out!! It has been such a worthwhile experience and thanks to the professional but friendly approach that Ruth has, I have lost weight, raised both my fitness level and confidence . I have now joined a gym, swim regularly and eat more healthily. I thoroughly recommend Ruth'

I am genuinely delighted to write a testimonial for Ruth's website. I sought Ruth's help with managing a weight-loss plan. Like thousands before me, I have tried all sorts of diets and for me it always comes down to whether I can sustain the changes without feeling deprived. As someone who loves to cook, the diet has to be able to fuel my passion and not leave me surrounded by lettuce leaves and nothing else!
So I have nothing but praise for this hugely professional, warm and caring lady who has supported me through the ups and downs, the urges to comfort eat and kept me focused through the wobbles. I have now changed the way I eat, cook and manage my nutrition and feel so much better. I have energy, focus and the weight is still slowly coming off.
